People in Medinipur district of West Bengal turned horrified on Wednesday when huge collection of human bones were recovered from a brick kiln at Bhagawanpur, near Nandigram.

The kiln belongs to one Shyam Pradhan, a CPI(M) leader of the area. TMC MP Subhendu Adhikari and Union Minister of State Sisir Adhakari alleged that these skeletons and bones are of the ‘untraced’ people of Nandigram. “Most likely they were killed and graved here,” Subhendu Adhikari said demanding forensic test of the mortal remains.

Earlier police recovered bones and skeletons from another brick kiln of Nandigram. The skeletons surfaced while workers were digging the kiln field. Kiln owner stopped the digging and asked the workers to work on other spot. District administration claimed that police has seized the bones and have sent them for forensic test.
