The mumbo-jumbo anticipated in the fifth mega portrayal of the fantasy novel series was apparent in the cheering, clapping and whistling at the jam-packed theatre!

Director David Yates has done a fair job of portraying the wizardry elements of the lengthy mystical novel, into a two and a half hour fascinating cinematic experience with many state-of-the-art special effects.

Unfortunately, the movie loses out on the plot and scripting, which has several deviations from the book, proving disappointing to the ardent fans of the boy wizard. In fact, it is not even a good starting point for those newly initiated in the Potter club. The movie seems to be made of the outline of the book and even those parts of the book depicted in the movie, hurriedly pass by without an explanation.

Even amidst all this, Order of the Phoenix reveals a more adult stand as Harry as well as other characters are growing up to handle emotions (be it love or anger). While the plot revolves around Dumbledore and Potter’s struggle at Hogwarts to prove to the Department of Ministries that the evil Lord Voldemort is back, the characters of the movie from the loony Luna Lovegood to the stickler Dolores Umbridge call for a one time view at least!
