One law for all!

 

 

This is with reference to ‘Opportune Moment’ (TSI November 12, 2007). It is high time that a high-powered National Judicial Council be constituted to have a judicially-refined say of legislature in the appointments and probe for judges of higher courts. Even the Chief Justice of India should be accountable to the Commission, especially in a system like ours, where seniority is the only criteria to reach the top. They are from same society that has both honest and dishonest persons.
