Need for true recognition

 

 

This refers to 'Peace prize for US peace keepres' (TSI, October 19-25). I am not grudging against Obama getting the Nobel Prize but I don’t support a Noble peace prize for mending Muslim world relations with the US. This recognition comes at a very early stage as he has not completed one year as the President. More astonishing is the fact that the jury gave Mahatma Gandhi 'a miss' not once or twice but five times. Gandhi ji was never greedy about Nobel Prize but a legend like him will always remain a giant among men and a beacon of hope to a desperate population of the world.
