Vibrant musical melodies rendered in their typical traditional andaaz , that transport not only the artists, but also the listeners to a state of wajd or qaifiat– an entranced state of spiritual ecstasy. So to feel the divine force, you could try the Qawwali music workshop with the Nizami Brothers & cousins Taufiq Niazi & Ghulam Khusro, wherein one could learn the magical intricacies of enchanting ragas and beats.

Sadly however, like everything else this summer, the workshop too has flown west. The Qawwali singing workshop is headed for London in the first week of July. So fly west and sing away your blues.
