Mahotsav blues for Akhilesh

UP CM Akhilesh Yadav and his party is facing the music for turning a blind eye to the apathy of hundreds of Muzaffarnagar riot victims and at the same time organising its extravagant annual event, ‘Saifai Mahotsav’. It is reported that seven jets were chartered to fly Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Deepika Padukone and other Bollywood stars into Saifai, the ancestral village of the Yadavs for performing in the closing ceremony of the fortnight long festival. BSP leader Sudhindra Bhadoria said: “They have lost all human values as they are celebrating at a time when so many kids have died in Muzaffarnagar”. Further, the UP government is also under attack to send its 20 MLAs for a government funded 20 day study tour to Turkey, Greece, UK, UAE and the Netherlands. Defending this, Azam Khan, who is leading the tour, said, “It’s a study tour. You said it yourself. Shouldn’t leaders go out and study?” Well, you are right Mr Azam Khan, but the timing is not just right.
