This controversial day in the Indian calendar is here again, when lovers and haters clash on the streets, quite literally. While those young at heart, brave the challenge of both, the opposite gender and the radicals and venture out to hold the hands of their beloved, the extremists, take this up as an assault on their very existence and fighting for survival, ruthlessly attack the lovebirds for daring to fall in love. The unfairness of the situation doesn't go unnoticed, as the lover is met with a blow at both sides of the road, by asking his/her beloved on a date, he faces the risk of rejection and a heartbreak however, if that doesn't happen the club-holding saffron clothed irrationalists pose a grave threat. The significance of the red color of the day, gains an all new meaning in this light.

Love - a feeling of immense pleasure, which we all treasure..
That no riches can buy, when lost, can only cry..
Build it without a lie, to have it till we die..
This significant day reminds us to wish our beloved ones, as most of us forget to do so in the hectic schedule of life amidst tensions, battling for survival. Failing to realize the fact that the rush to achieve things in life is always with a reason – LOVE.

Week of Saint valentine could have truly been the dream week had it not been for my job. Just wish I could be with my Senorita. However, just to have a balance between love and professional life, I met with my Senorita on sunday, 2 days before the grand festival of love. It's very difficult to make women understand that there is lot more to the life than just the expression of love(aur bhi gum h jamane mein mein mohabbat k siwa), however I was lucky enough to make her understand just after a humble effort of 2 hours and her lovely eyes has sarcasm wrapped appreciation for my small token of love(Although, it drained 10% of my monthly salary). Just wish this day could fall on sunday every year or alternatively, we can celebrate second sunday of February as “Valentine's Day” or if government can help with some policy changes(as it desperately needs a few) we can declare 14th February as a national holiday. But there has to be a solution. Saint Valentine, please listen to my prayers so that this innocent lover doesn't suffer the double blow(from girlfriend as well as from job) every year.

I was 20 when i met with Mr.Right and from that day there is no looking back at my singlehood excitement.
Those were the days when I seriously thought about how m gonna celebrate The Valentine Day. But after 3years of relationship I think that each day I spend with him is a special and precious for me.

You can celebrate this day with any one whom you feel is worth.  As its not only a day to express that feeling, we should take this day as an add up to make the person feel special in your life.
