A Delhi lawyer on Thursday sought to register an FIR against Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, Revenue Minister Arvinder Singh Lovely and officials of Transport department and ESP India Ltd for corruption in allotting contracts of fitness tests of Commercial Vehicles.

The lawyer has claimed that he filed a complaint to the SHO Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) in May last year under several acts of IPC for the registration of FIR. He claimed the contracts for conducting fitness test were given to a company ESP India private Ltd without calling any tender. To support his claim he has also attached several documents obtained through RTIs.

Moreover, the lawyer has also alleged that the Transport department charged extra charge of Rs 100 from each commercial vehicle for issuing fitness certificate.

“The SHO (ACB) did not register the FIR despite clear cognizable offenses,” the lawyer claimed.

In the concluding remark he has stated, if you do not register the FIR strictly as per the complainants, the complainant shall file an Contempt petition against all of in Supreme Court.
