Karzai Rebukes the United States

In another barb directed at the US, President Karzai has maintained that he finds “no good” with the continued and long-term stay of American forces in Afghanistan. This is another indication that the relationship between the US and Afghanistan government has turned acrimonious . “This whole 12 years was one of constant pleading with America to treat the lives of our civilians as lives of people,” Karzai was quoted as saying earlier this week. “The money they should have paid to the police they paid to private security firms and creating militias who caused lawlessness, corruption and highway robbery,” he further added.
