This is with reference to the cover story Is Indian Judiciary becoming a new-age Tughlaq? It has exposed the darkness of the courtrooms. Our judicial system has deviated from its way and has shut its eyes on its duties. I would like to point out here that high level inquiries are commissioned under the Inquiry Act. There are total 30 inquiry commissions in our country at present, which are looking into matters ranging from Nursery admissions to high-profile scams. These commissions have earned a bad name for being used as political tools. Liberhan Commission, Tehelka Commission and Nanavati Commission have not been able to submit any significant report till date. They are the biggest failures of our
judicial system.
