Infants continue to die in West Bengal

Adding up to health related tragedies in West Bengal, two more infant died at Malad Medical College and Hospital, here on Tuesday, taking infant death toll to 11, as confirmed by official sources.
One baby died Tuesday while another one died late Monday night, officials said.
The babies were brought to the hospital in a critical condition with respiratory problem and were underweight,
doctors said.
Earlier on April 6, nine babies had died in 12 hours in the same hospital.
Two months back, 20 new borns had died here. Most of the babies were delivered at home in the village and brought in critical state, doctors said.
