India and the United States have agreed to hold another round of bi-lateral dialogue on East Asian affairs later this year, the State Department said.

The decision was taken at a meeting early this week in New Delhi.

The Assistant Secretary of State, Kurt Campbell, led an inter agency delegation to New Delhi, on April 4, where he met with counterparts from the Indian Ministry of External Affairs and co-chaired the third US-India dialogue on East Asian affairs.

"Both sides agreed to hold another dialogue later this year," the State Department said in a statement.

On April 6 in Singapore, Campbell met Permanent Secretary Bilahari Kausikan from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other Singaporean officials to discuss bilateral and regional issues.
