Help, only on paper

 

 

This message is with the reference to the cover story on the wheat crisis in our country in your magazine (TSI February 4, 2008). The farmers are in a critical condition and no one is thinking about them. Sharad Pawar remains busy with Cricket. The government is announcing packages and farmers are committing suicide. Help is provided only on papers and is not reaching the farmers. In this era of globalisation, no one is serious about the sorry state of around 60% of our population. The media should cover such matters of public welfare over gossip. I am thankful to TSI for giving it due importance and making it your cover story.
