Hazare, Ramdev to join hands for causes: Sources

Veteran Gandhian Anna Hazare and Swami Ramdev have decided to join hands to take on the government on various issues.

The supporters of both leaders have formed the Pune District Andolan Samiti. Making the announcement at a press conference in the city on Tuesday, its representative Col (retd) Kuldeep Sahani said that Hazare will visit the city on May 25 and may hold fast on June 3.

On the occasion of the 155th anniversary of the War of Independence (May 10, 1857), the samiti will gather at Shaniwarwada on Thursday between 6 and 8 pm. It will announce its future plans at the meet.

The members announced that Hazare will attend a jana jagruti sabha on May 25. The demands include bringing back black money to India and strong Jan Lokpal Bill. Citizens can register for this movement or get their queries answered on 9405852444 / 9325409626.
