Great indian women

 

 

It refers to Arindam Chaudhuri's "Sonia and Mamata..." (TSI, July 27-August 2). Indeed these two ladies have something in common; willpower, grit and ability to take the world head on. As suggested by Mr. Chaudhuri that both are on brink of the history, I partially agree with him because Mamata, however solid her position is in West Bengal, it will take a Herculean effort from her to dislodge the Left, who are ruling the state for so many decades and Sonia along with her son Rahul has helped Congress come to the power again but thinking about 2014 is thinking too far because in politics even a fortnight is considered a long period. So both of these ladies need to keep the same level of fighting spirit, so that they do not slip midway and reach to their final goal.
