When you tuck in your baby in the night, do spare a thought for your computer who sure could do with a little break too! Most computers are simply left on the sleep/stand-by mode and are often mistaken to be switched-off. To save such energy expending misconceptions, scientists have developed a standard colour code: the light will be steady green when the machine is at full operation, and amber during sleep mode. Let there be light... for your PC!
