Feeling it up...

 

 

While the majority would agree that seeing is believing, the new notion doing the rounds is that feeling is more convincing, leading a Japanese firm to create a glove that can feel 3D images. The system enhanced by a sensor-loaded glove, makes images literally come alive, as it allows users to feel the object without having to don cumbersome 3D glasses! Their next step is to enable commercial applications of this device. It certainly takes you one step closer to making virtual reality as real and believable as the hard earth beneath our feet.
