This refers to Rear Window, "Naxalism – Force is not the answer" (TSI, March 8-14). The genesis of Naxalism and its inherent violence has been brilliantly analysed by the writer. Hats off to TSI for the piece.

Arindam Chaudhuri wrote an extremely cautious but carefully worded edit on "India's Intervention in Sri Lanka..." (TSI, March 1-7). It was a timely suggestion to our Indian government. He highlighted the war hero Fonseka and where he faltered. The war hero with all his belief that the Tamils and the Tamil ethnic group would tilt the scale! But the opposition could muster only 40 per cent of votes only at the hustings. The doubt on a foreign hand being involved in the deal is also true. A nice write-up!
