Familiar Oblivion!

 

 

Were you a native of Los Angeles, it would be difficult to recognize your own city inside the LA County Museum of Art! For, as part of an exhibition called Oblivion, are David Maisel’s images of the urban growth of Los Angeles taken from astronomical distances. The city’s concrete maze taking shape alien to mortal eyes, David’s breathtaking black & white artistry is what will make you gape at LA in renewed adoration! (till 31 March.)
