Ever heard taste?

 

 

Imagine multi-tasking senses?! What if music was more of colours and less of notes in the air, or when you held an object, you felt not the sensation of touch but taste instead! Well, this is no hallucination we are referring to; the rare condition named synesthesia involves two senses bleeding into one another. A recent survey even detected that a thin population in the last stage of this strange condition feel the actual taste of the words when uttered! Wow, then just chanting the word ‘chocolate’ all day long should be sinfully blissful for the ‘suffering’ chocoholics, right?!
