Phone calls can definitely lift your spirits but if the call is on your cell phone, it could be potentially hazardous. It is known that normal phones transmit sound as electrical pulses through wires that hang from poles or through tunnels underground. On the contrary, words spoken over a cell phone conversation become digital messages that are transmitted through air as pulses of microwave radiation. And these, apparently can cause serious health problems. Reports say that scientists in Sweden have found evidence that such radiations are dangerous enough to kill brain cells in rats.
