Demise of a demon

 

 

With the demise of the LTTE, the Lankan government should be able to negotiate from a position of strength. The impoverished, displaced Tamil masses need to be duly rehabilitated. The Sinhalese will deal magnanimously with their Tamil fellow citizens and reconcile with them. They need to appreciate that the LTTE is not synonymous with Tamils. Then Sri Lanka can become the success story.
