Delhi police readies for any surprise situation

Despite Anna Hazare’s announcement that they will not go for Jail Baharo Andolan on December 30, the Delhi police are making elaborate arrangements to cope up with the situation which might arise in case the Anna supporters storm the VVIP areas and create problem for them.

The Delhi police have issued a traffic advisory requesting citizens to refrain from going to such roads which are likely to be affected by any unexpected move of Anna supporters.

Police is in the process of finalising closure of three metro stations from December 30 during specific hours in case Anna supporters try and surprise the police by storming these areas.

Police has already directed Delhi Transport Corporation to suspend bus operations on the routes falling close to the VVIP areas.
