Defying the odds

 

 

Referring to "Beating life at its own game" (TSI, March 22-28). All of us who crib about our lives even at a small bit of unpleasantness and sad moment must learn a lesson from Jothy Rosenberg, who not only defied all logic and reasoning provided by the doctors but fought with his destiny. Whether skiing or any other sport, he chose to raise the bar with every event he participated. One should never give up and the way Rosenberg defied the death time and again proves that we choose our own boundaries and limitations and restrict ourselves within that frame rather than pushing the limits like he did. Rosenberg’s inspiring story must change our attitude towards life and motivate us to take the hardship of our life with much more vigour and grit.
