Conserve natural heritage

 

 

'With Nature' by Dr Singh (Rear Window) was a refreshing read. The kind of wisdom and the love for nature demonstrated by our ancestors were visionary. But unfortunately, ecological considerations do not get any priority these days as we are caught up in the web of finding solutions to our immediate economic problems. The disastrous consumerist culture and the emerging developmental concerns are taking their toll on nature. It's high time that we remember that the conservation of natural heritage is essential to our cultural sustenance.
