Class XII girl in MMS scandal, attempts suicide

A class 12th student, whose obscene MMS was circulated by her friend’s brother tried to commit suicide by hanging herself in Nihal Vihar area of west Delhi.

The girl has been admitted to a private nursing home in Paschim Vihar where her condition is stated to be critical.

The 17 year old government school girl’s (name withheld) obscene MMS was made by her friend’s brother, who lives near her house with the help of two friends.

Later the accused tried to threaten her that if she did not concede to his wishes, he would circulate the MMS to everyone. But the victim refused to bow down to his wish.

Angered by this, the accused circulated the MMS to his friends and even sent the MMS to the victim’s brother. When the victim came to know of this, she tried to commit suicide by hanging her.

Luckily, her family found her hanging and they rushed her to a nearby private nursing home in unconscious condition. Doctors at the hospital made hectic efforts to save the girl. Her condition is stated to be critical but is out of danger.

The victim told the police that her friend’s brother had met her at a lonely place where his two friends made obscene MMS and later they started to blackmail her. But since she refused to bow to their wishes circulated the MMS to everyone.

Police is on a lookout for the accused and his two friends and are hopeful of nabbing them very soon.
