BUDDHADEB MUST ACT, SOON!

 

 

The way the CPI(M) government is acting in Nandigram is really astonishing. It is quite rightly put across in your Special Report that it looks like free India’s Jallianwala Bagh. The State has been given in the hands of unruly and inefficient bureaucrats and police. Our police are well known not to have any knowledge and training in handling such sensitive situations. Buddhadeb babu must understand that political conflicts cannot be resolved without constructive policy changes; there is absolutely no role of bureaucracy in that.
