Bi-ped octopus

 

 

Two species of octopus have been found in Indonesia and Australia which can actually walk on just two of their eight arms. This is the first time that this sort of movement has been seen in a creature that has no bones. It is interesting to study how octopuses manage to do this as this can eventually help engineers design ‘soft’ robots that can move in a similar way.
