Better laws to protect wildlife

 

 

The cover story -'Reflections of a lost world' of wildlife special issue (TSI, Nov 24-30) was a feast to the eyes, especially all the photo features. It was yet another break from TSI’s routine affairs of politics and politicians. The wealth of our forests especially the endangered species should be protected at any cost. As the wild life warrior Billy Arjan Singh said in the forward of the cover feature, “We must protect them otherwise as they go would we…” is a serious alert for the nation. The cover feature revealed the the seriousness of conserving our wildlife for our own good. Most of the featured articles showed the importance of existenceof these species. The authorities should make more stringent laws to preserve this tremendous wealth.
