You made your Bollywood debut with Chase in 2010, and now coming back with Paranthe Wali Gali. What took you so long?

I have been busy handling my business. My home production Marathi serial Devyani is very much popular. I am also looking forward producing a couple of Hindi and Marathi plays.

Now coming to Paranthe Wali Gali, what’s the film about and what’s your role?

Paranthe Wali Gali is a romantic comedy, shot in Old Delhi. Sachin (director) has managed to retain the actual essence of the Delhi streets. I play a small town boy who tends to fall in love with a simple, sweet Dilli girl, who dreams to own a full-fledged business of parathas. So what follows next, is the film all about.

What are your upcoming projects?

I have a few projects for my production as well as an actor. I have a second show coming on Marathi channel, Star Pravah. But it’s too soon to reveal much about it. I am also doing a few short films, one being ‘Divorce’.
