An arty bash!

 

 

A living legend, his 85th birthday is certainly meant to be one hearty affair for all of the art world! Awarded the Prix de la Critique in Paris in 1956, the Padma Shri in 1981, elected Fellow of the Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi, in 1983, Syed Haider Raza has known renown far greater. Around his birthday, Art Alive (an independent art gallery to promote Indian contemporary art), showcases ‘Swasti Roop’ – paintings by Raza Foundation awardees, like Rahim Mirza, Sujata Bajaj, Yusuf… go ahead, feast your soul through your eyes.
