Amidst the Pyramids . . .

“Nowhere are there so many marvellous things . . . nor in the world besides are to be seen so many things of unspeakable greatness!”

Amidst the Pyramids . . . That was Herodotus, the Father of History pouring praises on the Land of the Pharaohs – Egypt. At the mesmerising pyramids of Giza alone, you’ll find some of the most fascinating legacies in the many temples, tombs, monasteries and mosques left behind by the Pharaohs, Greeks and the Romans. Rich in culture, immersed in tradition, you can make it a trip of a lifetime; and what better way than to go on a cruise while you feast on your favourite cuisine for dinner and sip on your favourite wine aboard one of the many scintillating cruises down the majestic river, Nile.

Yet, this is not all there is to Egypt. What truly make a visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt memorable are the Pyramids of Giza and Abu al-Hol or ‘Father of Terror’ – the Sphinx, those at their illuminated best when the sound and light show is in full swing. One of the most primitive sites in the whole of Egypt, the Elephantine Island is where one can find the best in ancient artefacts. Another fascinating piece of architecture is the Luxor temple next to the Sphinx; but nothing remotely comes close to the Karnak temple, the largest and easily the grandest by any measure . . .

The perfect getaway, you’ll find everything you need to make it one grand party in this ancient land. Truly, for all its shining and glorious past, one that has come to be its essence, Egypt definitely is a must see for the traveller who loves history with a dash of mystery!
