A peaceful nation

A peaceful nation The article “Neigh – Bros!”(TSI 7-13 Sep) deserves ample merit as it prompts the Indians to learn the tenets of democracy and the height of infrastructure and architecture from Bhutan. It goes without saying that India is ready to take these ideals to be its talisman. But as already pointed out in the article Pakistan is the biggest headache for India. It is quite shameful that though the world knows the monkey business of Pakistan, perhaps there is none to drag the country to the dock to let it swallow widespread allegations. In spite of infiltration of Pakistanis and Pak backed terrorism in India, we are mute spectators to these aggressive behaviour and we have not yet contemplated to wage a war against this terrorist country. Let the other nations learn from us how we love peace and harmony and our peace mission is always unflinching. For instance, Abdul Kalam and Shah Rukh Khan, in the name of frisking, have been mistreated by the Americans and we are still tolerant. Also we have never been hesitant to extend our hands of cooperation to the other countries. So we are proud of the fact that we love peace and happiness desisting from the thought of retaliation as we know the gospel truth that evil begets evil.
