A haven for terrorists

 

 

This refers to your report "India's Most Wanted"(TSI, December 29, 2008). It is an accepted fact that India's most wanted and dreaded terrorists are undoubtedly taking refuge in Pakistan with the patronage and blessings of Pakstan Army and ISI. It is very easy for the terrorists to plan and execute terror attacks in India and escape to their hideouts in Pakistan. India, on its part, has so far observed exemplary restraint in the wake of Mumbai terror attacks. This, despite the fact that even after furnishing the list of terrorists' names with clinching evidence of their Pakistani origin, Pakistan has remained adamantly uncooperative. Since it is clearly evident that Pakistan is disinclined to cooperate with India in her fight against terror, India should continue to persist with a very firm strategy till the time Pakistan realises that internal peace and peace wih India is only the solution for the progress of their nation.
