It’s time to party!! Great music and fantastic parties on beautiful beaches – What more can one ask for? When it comes to writing about the world’s most vibrant cities, the list is never complete without mention of the partying capital of the world – Ibiza. A Spanish island tucked away in the Mediterranean Sea, Ibiza is the place to be for all you music lovers. To know more about this vibrant city I got in touch with one of the most celebrated DJs  in partytown – Franco De Mulero!

Franco De Mulero is a Balearic native who has been on the club scene since the early 90s. He has been the official DJ for the Coronita Spanish Tour, and won awards like the Best Ibiza Resident DJ (2009). One of the most respected DJs and producer for some of the best House labels like King Street, Nite Groove, Purple Music, Pacha recordings, Soulfuric, Salted Music to name a few, Franco shares his love for  “The Magic Isle”...

What makes Ibiza one of the most vibrant cities in the world is the island itself – its wonderful beaches and crystal-clear waters, and the people also are very open and frank. The Mediterranean food adds to the vibrancy of this small isle.

Ibiza is most well-known for its clubbing scene, and no other city compares to it. Ibiza plays a host of musical styles like Chillout (electronic), Deep Underground, House, Soul, Latin, Progressive, Tech, etc.  If you are looking for the best beach hotel party this summer, Ushuaia is the place to be. It is a brand new beach hotel in Playa De´nBossa (the longest stretch of beach on the island)and has the best DJs playing for them every day. The hotel also offers high class accommodation and an interesting program of events such as Swedish House Mafia, Luciano & Cadenza, Subliminal.

Other places to visit to get a feel of this city that never sleeps are L’elephant and Underground which offer amazing food and great music. If you are in the mood to chill out and spend a lazy day, you can hang out at Blue Marlin or Km 5. Incidentally, Km 5 is on the way to San Jose and is considered one of the best restaurants and mini clubs of the city, with a beautiful terrace to relax and unwind. And what better way to end the day than to relax at Café Mambo or Café Del Mar, sip coffee and witness the most brilliant sunset views of the island.

All in all, Ibiza is all about great music, the best parties and fantastic beaches. Although a small isle in Spain, it is nonetheless the number one destination for all those who have an ear for music and the energy to party all night long!!!
