As crowds gather at Ramlila Ground in Delhi to support Yoga guru Baba Ramdev's agitation against corruption and black money, many of his supporters who travelled long distance from different parts of the country are clueless about their guru's mission.
Vikas Porida, a student who has travelled all the way from Cuttack, Orissa, does not know what Baba Ramdev’s movement is all about. When quizzed further, he said, "We have come here with an RSS leader and we have paid Rs 500 for train’s fare and will pay for the return ticket as well.
One of Porida's friends added that nearly 4000 RSS workers have come from different parts of Orissa to extend support to Baba Ramdev. "We were told that we will stay here for 6 days and then we will return to our place," he added.
Similarly, a group of five women has come from Puri, Orissa, but none of them understands Hindi and English. Ironically, Baba Ramdev will address the crowd in Hindi but his followers from non-Hindi speaking states may not comprehend Baba message.
One of the member of Baba Ramdev’s core team told TSI that Swami Ji has travelled 11,000 kms across the country and has addressed nearly 11 crore people and that's the reason for swelling crowd at Ramlila.
Now the question is not how many people will join Ramdev's agitation, but the important thing is how many of his followers will understand his message against corruption and black money.
