Paulraj gets Tech Nobel

Arogyaswami Jospeh Paulraj, Indian born Scientist and Professor (Emeritus) at Stanford University has been awarded the 2014 Marconi Society Prize for developing the theory and application of MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) antennas. The discovery, used in Wifi routers and 4G phones, helped revolutionised the speed of wireless delivery of multimedia services. Paulraj is a doctorate in the field of electrical engineering from IIT, New Delhi.
