Lohan faces eight months behind bars

Actress Lindsay Lohan has been told that she faces eight months in prison after her probation was revoked.

The 26-year-old was ordered to be at the best of her behaviour after she was convicted of stealing a necklace 2011.

However, she got involved in a car accident in California in June. After being questioned, Lohan lied, but she was proven guilty after multiple witnesses came forward to claim that she was behind the wheel.

She was charged with reckless driving last month.

Lohan was not in court for the hearing, but will have to appear before the bench Jan 15, 2013.
