India crashed out of World Twenty20 despite beating South Africa by one run in their last Super Eights match here on Tuesday.
 
India, who needed to restrict South Africa to 121 to qualify for the semifinals, let South Africa make 151. India had made 152 for six.
 
Suresh Raina top-scored for the Indians with 45 while Faf Du Plessis struck 65 off 38 balls for the Proteas.

India: 152 for six in 20 overs (Suresh Raina 45, Rohit Sharma 25; Robin Peterson 2/25, Morne Morkel 2/28).
 
South Africa: 151 all out in 19.5 overs (Faf du Plessis 65; Zaheer Khan 3/22, Laxmipathy Balaji 3/37)
