Indians are the world’s fourth greatest spammers, choking mailboxes with ads for pharma products and sexually explicit material according to a Microsoft report. USA, China and UK take the first three spots. While India had 5,779 addresses sending spams, the numbers for USA were 29,216, for China 16,094 and for the UK 7,728. India was also victim of a number of cybercrimes, ranking fifth in terms of malware encounters during January-June 2013. Worms were the most prevalent form of attack in India, followed by trojans and viruses.
