Doubling up in a Dublin inn! With three weeks of theatre, dance and visual arts, Dublin’s Fringe Theatre Festival, set up in 1995, gives new Irish artists a platform. Spread across 20 venues, the event is a multi-disciplinary international affair which boasts of an audience in the excess of 45,000. Disused shops, galleries, pubs and clubs, as well as the more conventional city spaces serve as alternative and interesting stage settings. September-October 2006.
