Autumn in Prague! The European summer festivals conclude with the Prague Autumn Festival in September. Ever since 1991, it has attracted some of the finest composers of classical music. The 2006 festival pays tributes to both Dvorák and Janácek through visiting orchestras from Monte Carlo, Manchester, Bamberg, Berlin, Frankfurt, Paris and Moscow. Anton Dvorak was an extremely gifted Czech viola player & Leos Janacek was a Czech composer famous for his contribution of nine operas to the international repertoire. The Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, along with the Bamberg and Berlin Orchestra, will enchant with their mellifluous renditions. A Flamenco Requiem and a Russian programme will be followed by the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra. And this goes on till the 1st of October, 2006.
